Henri Smith of course. Because of all the characters of Ruin, he would SO be a world adventurer.
Look, he's even sparkling with excitement.
Why is he really sparkling? I think it's because I tried out the "man candy" lifetime aspiration reward. Yeah, nice, but uh no. I'll have to wait on that one until someone (I'm going to bet HP at MTS) makes a replacement texture for that. Even if the sparkles glow red.
Some pics from the underground:
This pic in particular is awesome. Know why? Because he's soaked, and the water is dripping off him. For about an hour or so game time, he dripped water everywhere and left puddles if he stood somewhere too long. Somehow, I will find a way to use that effectively.
I didn't get a chance to play long enough last night. We just made it through one underground catacomb. Which was awesome. Until I realized that the catacombs will never change unless I change them. So after we explore all of the catacombs, I'll probably never do it again.
Oh well. I mostly got this for the extra animations. In particular the fighting animations which will probably come in handy soon.
Oh and for the basement tool. There is one tribe that was supposed to live underground, and I would love to see if with the new basement tool I can appropriately do that. I suppose I can make a structure above ground and make it look like it's underground, but that somehow didn't seem as fun a challenge.

Nice screenshots. He really looks like an adventurer - actually, he reminds me a bit of George from Broken Sword.
I am curious about the basement tool as well. BDtS all happens underground in 'tunnels' so that'll be interesting to try out.
I was just over at Mao's TS3 blog earlier this morning and got to wondering if you'd picked up the new expansion yet!
I think I already said when you first introduced Henri that he looked like some kind of action hero (if I didn't, I meant to!) so World Adventures seems like it would suit him. He doesn't look too happy to be soaked but who would be?
I haven't got this pack yet but I definitely understand what you're saying about the lack of replayability (yay for making up words). It seems like it's a play-it-through-once sort of thing. I'm still not sure if I'll buy it, given I don't blog TS3.
I had to resist putting him in the Indiana Jones costume. But I might for the next adventure!
I wanted to play with the basement tool tonight. If I get a chance, I'll share my findings!
An action hero! lol, that's perfect! He's probably more unhappy that he had to dive through the pool to get to the secret room.
Yeah, I have to test more to see if there's some other stuff that make the game really really worth it. Like the way BV added so much to the game, you didn't even have to take vacations.
