So I decided to play some more Ambitions. (Starring Mitchell and Paula which I last showed way back here.) It started out with a fire.
Yes, that's the maid deciding she doesn't get paid enough for this and walking away. She's a horrible maid anyway. I've watched her snacking on food and brushing her teeth.
Finally found a gnome! Kinda. Mitchel actually made him. I've been watching where he appears each day.
Mitchell managed to create a time machine finally. And we had a little adventure in the past.
He came back with a little surprise.

Robot Gnome is too cute! I've only found regular gnomes and laundry gnomes so far.
Oh, is this the "Try for a Baby in the Past" thing? Or something? I've heard you can do that but haven't actually tried it yet.
I haven't managed to find any other gnomes, but then I'm not playing. And laundry gnomes? Really? That's awesome, lol.
Surprisingly, no. I just sent him to the past and he came back from one of his adventures with her. Imagine Paula's surprise when she came home from work.
Oh, the laundry gnome is pretty adorable. It's kind of teddy bear like, if I remember correctly (only ever found one!).
So Mitchell just came home with this random little girl? How funny!
I found the laundry genome once in my sims inventory, it was quite soon after getting Ambition, and had no idea what it was until a few weeks ago it was discussed on MTS.
I had my inventor Sim go in and out of the time machine tens of times and I never got a random child. I wanted one very badly because I liked the guy but he wasn't really into male-female relationships so having a time machine baby was his only hope.
Hopefully you get to play LN soon, it's amazing. But take a backup of your game and the sims you want to play with. Installing LN corrupted my hood and saves, thankfully I managed to save the most important people but I lost my inventor which sucks.
I need to make a point to check their inventory more often than I do!
Oh that's interesting. Maybe because of his preference, that effected the outcome? I think my sim Mitchell doesn't really have a preference, though girls do gravitate towards him. I was surprised that he came home with a kid so soon. It was only his second trip!
Oh I am itching to play LN! I really need to be prepared though. I make back ups of everything. So far, I think the only mod I might need that isn't up to date is the Chaos Painting. I think I will end up just forgetting that one and going for the update!

I am finding a few things though - the slider and the non-default skins don't work together. I'm really digging the muscle definition, so I've taken it out for the time being.
Sliders - more than 10 or whatever the number is - starts eating into the EA sliders. I didn't know the underlip was so important to me until I lost it! I'm looking out for Johna to update that base. I'm still not wanting to get into Awesome Mod.
And Heheh! I love the woops Time travel addon :D
Oh the sliders! That's kinda important since most of my sims have some sort of modification, even if it is only small, using custom sliders. But I can't wait to play around with the muscle definition!
For some reason, like I explained on twitter.. ever since I installed LN..im getting this weird blue-undies phenomenon when my sims are supposed to be nude..
i suppose it could be something i've installed..but i never saw it before.
